Makes you want to buy a BMW? or makes you want to have...Ok, now let’s be real, everywhere you go there’s some kind of advertisement or something of the like that catches your attention. In some way or fashion, it grabs your attention because of it’s sex appeal! Let’s see, movies have it (even the ones rated PG!), commercials have it, everything has it. Don’t lie if you’ve never randomly turned to a Victoria Secret commercial and stared intently ( *cough* guys). And I know that there are girls who go watch some crappy movie because some hot dude is in it.

For instance, my cousin (a girl) went to watch a movie called Sleepover because she got to see some dude’s butt. And one of my friend (yet another girl) confessed to me that she goes to baseball games to stare at the players.

Guys are no different from this too. In fact, well not really, but from my experience, 99.99% of the time guys think of sex wherever they go! I’ll bet 100$ that guys were looking at the image over there at the top for awhile. Heck, maybe even some girls.

So why does advertisements of the like use sex appeals? Well easy, it’s because it works! Even though people won’t admit it, maybe even you, people can’t doubt the fact that there’s some factor that just urges them toward that product, movie, or whatever.

So here’s my thinking, sex totally sells big gazoobas.





Ways to Defeat Stress

If you’re living with high levels of stress, then your screwing yourself around. Stress wreaks havoc on your whole body and narrows your ability to think clearly, function effectively, and enjoy life. So, how do you cope with stress? Here’s how!

1) Stay away from things that stress you out.
Your thinking, thats easier said than done. In fact, realistically you have to face things that stress you out sometimes. However, you can easily avoid things that can produce stress. Know your limits and don’t take on an overwhelming amount of responsibilities. In addition, say “no” to the things that make you go “coo coo” and walk away.

2) Alter the situation.
For those situations you can’t escape that produce stress, try to think of ways to turn the situation better. Assert your feelings instead of bottling them up inside and be assertive. If someone’s going to waste your time when you should be studying, just say “Hey, you got five minutes!”

3) Make a schedule.
Write down things you need to get done or mentally do it (putting it on paper would be better though as you can see the task get CROSSED OUT – HECKZ YEAH!). Mentally seeing things get over with will let you know that you won’t have to worry about it ever again.

4) Nurture yourself.
The best thing to do whenever stressed, take a timeout and close your eyes! Let your eyes rest for a few, put your palms over them and apply light pressure. Try meditating, zoning out everything out of your mind and until you feel as if time stopped. And probably one of my favorites, lay down and take a 10 minute rest, but try to be conscious while laying down or else you’ll fall asleep and lose precious hours.
